This map was featured on 2010-06-19

Back_in_2004, LittleViking_dissected the level_data_of_Ned, and postedhisfinds_onthe_oldforum [metanet.2.forumer.com]. Thepopularity of editedlaunchpads led to a detailed teleporter tutorial [metanet.2.forumer.com]. This started a periodofexperimentation, and eventuallyLittleVikingcreated the LV_Chronicles [metanet.2.forumer.com], whichcontained_some_of_the_most_influential_maps_ever_made_in_N. It showcased early examples of great level design which mappers_often_tried_emulating (even_if_they_couldn’t_match_LV’s_brilliance). This is one_of_them. Make no mistake – this is no mere gimmick map. Do away with the teleporters and you’d take away the excitement and relief of escaping the rockets. The zap-drone chain has to be there to create tension. The rockets opposite each other work so well in such a tight space, and given these bounceblocks a myriad of routes is presented; there’s_something_for_everyone_here.
