I'm pretty sure that playing N while dropping acid would lead to every map looking like this. (Maybe one of you can confirm or deny that.) In any case, Technicolor's certainly an evocative piece of art -- the other thing it puts me in mind of is the Titanic, splintering in turmoil as the ocean swells on uncaring. Few and far between are the maps on this site that can transport you out of the editor, but this is certainly one.
Bottom line: great idea, great execution.

Agree with blackson
The drones take up the space of 4 mines, and the slanting tiles make it a challenge to doge them, which is good. But including the gauss in the level was a bit too much. Also, adding mines in addition to the drones increased the difficulty greatly.
