1)Pick a minimap. 2)Place the ninja in the square indicated by the mine arrow. 3)If there are no mine arrows, place the ninja in the DEAD CENTER! 4)Send a demo and say which one you did. 5)Ded to VODKALOVER-come back with more minimaps! Have fun! |

No, it is not Art Of Motion (AOM it's still on going).
That it's just another Vehemence 4 100 maps pack, that I'm making just for fun and because lfaber challenged me to do. I'm currently made 3 days, that's mean 75 out of 100, the other 50s are just above that post, and the 25s left I think I'll have them tomorrow or at maximum Friday.
Hope you enjoy those maps, they are pretty Vehemence'ish and you can get some ideas if you want. And I also hope you get that joke 'leo idea sucks' in the best way possible.. ;)

Ok, sorry too late, I was completely asleep.. :P
I almost liked everything on it, it's nice the idea of replacing the Ninja although it has been done several times, I made several maps like this in Vehemence 4. The challenges on every room was nice, simple, clean and concise, they played really fine, though not very creative, nor had any cool pattern you could have followed. I must also say that I sincerely NOT liked your idea of the arrows, you could have managed something like: "Replace the single piece of gold or the single mine by the Ninja" or simply trying to focus all the tiny maps to the Ninja be placed in the dead center. Anyway, although it can be improved by a lot, you did something cool.
You want a bit more of honesty and a daily advice, ok, so here's, friend, frankly you should work hard on your aesthetic. This was really ugly, you have to try to imagine what the end result will be, try to imagine the thumbnail or something, try to create harmony, things with some golden ratio, or correlation between them. Then it's up to each and every personal style, but for example, I made a couple of samples of something that would look frankly better, of course you do not have to like it, but to give you an idea of what could have tried to do.

And the last thing I will say is that you ought to have put at least a Ninja, you should have chosen your favorite, or the most interesting to play, and have allowed room for lazy players who do not want to go to Ned, that at least could play one of them in NReality or userlevels, this is something very important.
And the daily advice is, try the next time you to get up from your chair when the map is almost finished, get away a couple of meters from the computer screen, squints and tries to imagine the thumbnail, it looks cool? has good aesthetic? If not, change something, and repeat this process.
