I'm waiting for your maps from my older objects. To pack them all and show to you. With them (and with the maps I've made from yours) we actually have 9 episode to the 2nd column! Wooo! I wan't to finish that column, so, the next 'last' missin it's for you too...

Last 2nd Column Mission:
Please make for me 5 tileset to the last episode. Them must be a cool mix between 'metanet' and 'mossy' feel, you know, metanet-is but with some moss references.. Hope you can do it greatly.. ;)

I'm just finishing my castles. Hey, I think you've put more than 33 objects in each set!!! It does not matter, I'm going to do well, I have three yet. I think in a couple of hours I'll be ready with the next MOSS REPORT. ;)

I've had a crazy Saturday, a bit messy and busy. When I placed the message that you can go on IRC, I thought I would have time to be by your side, and it was not so. I had a dog day. Now I feel bad. I'm sorry. I hope your not mad at me. So sorry, my big friend.
And, the last thing I want to say to you, is that I'm currently highscoring our own first MOSS column under NReality (its last version). It's a really good n for highscoring, and i've to say that I'm really enjoyed our own mossy experience. I'm highscoring it harshly, improving my own runs again and again, and again. The new version of NReality have a really cool new function to highscore and it is the 'ghost' mode, like a ninja ghost (it's actually a circle) that showns your previous run or the best run or the run you choose at the same time at you're playing. It's very helpful to improve the runs again and again.
I'm getting very good runs, I'm going to agd on all the maps. And I'm currently starting the third episode (16th map) I'm always trying to improve the runs at least 300 or 400 frames less than the demos you saw already in playtesting. It is a very rewarding experience, highscoring our own maps. I have already some of them very good. When I have all the agd highscore runs in the first column, I'll post in the forums for you to see.

Ok, here is another real mapping challenge. We are now building castles, creepy castles, castles full of dungeons, fantastic castles, full of moss...

I'm sending five object-set (no-tiles), with 33 objects each one. You must build the tiles for them. The tiles must build castles, structures, dungeons and that sort of things, so they should be closed tiles with mossy castles-ish aesthetics. But that's not all, here are some rules as to the best adventures. The 33 existing objects can not be touched, nothing. The drones have specific paths, and can not be modified, you must play with this, and this means that if you delete them accidentally, will be difficult to know the path they had again. The next rule is to be added up to 10 objects more. As you can see there is no Ninja and Exit, you should place these two objects discounting of the 10 to be added, will therefore be 8 objects otherwise.
The end result should be 5 castle-ish maps with 43 objects each. We must pay close attention to the gameplay as well. I think it's a good challenge for creativity and for mapping. I want to see what you can! I'm pretty sure that your going to impress me as always.

On the other hand, you also must create 5 object-set of 33 objects (without ninja and exit) each one, that I also do my own castles. This will give us two new mossy episodes more!

If you want we can reject 11-0 You're my partner in this mossy adventure and you have the whole right to take decissions. If you want, I can go with other tiles a bit more like the other ones and send to macro to make another 11-0 and reject the current one. You tell me.
Also, I'm finishing a couple of thing and i'll post to you the new things in few minutes.. ;)

MOSS REPORT 3

About the episode made together with macrohenry.

I've to say that I prefer you see it yourself, the tiles were made by me, and macro do the gameplays. Since he is a highscorer, he knows perfectly how the objects plays. He is really cool with floorguards, i like how he uses them, also there are some cool drones, laser, flows and mechanics, all delicately placed in a very mossy-Metanet! ;) We really hope you like this episode. It works very well and is not really complicated. It's the episode 11, there is some good mechanics.

MOSS REPORT 2

About the maps made from the twisted Traveleravi's tiles:

16-0: Chikebuchi Caterpillars -
Hahahaha, funny tiles man! Really funny! I made here a simple map, with some cool jumps and and relaxed chaingun area. Also edited a bit more the tiles to aesthetics. I like the couple of simple challenges here.

16-1: Bigaboom -
Cool twist of the tiles man, liked that beetle.. :P
Wanted to make a really flowy and metanet-ish map this time. Putting there some challenging pathed drones and some nice and delicate mechanics. I think I succeeded. macrohenry really like this map.

16-2: 100% Cement Bonsai -
I liked the twist and the idea much. But I thought it would be difficult to map here, since the structure and tiles. I decided to do something fruity, and work with a laser and little else. And finally I think the result is a very old school map that works and it's nice to move around much more than I thought. Highscoring here is interesting, thought with the 8tiles the ninja would move worse, but moves really well. Test a try!

16-3: ALPHAANDOMEGA CAT -
I wanted to do something different and conceptual here. The speedrun is simple. But if you want to go for the gold, here I'm featuring a mechanical delicious and novel with one-ways and rockets at begining, then the gold is easy. I say no more, plays. Hope you like it!

16-4: GreenGrass Radio -

These tiles are just sex! These tiles are worthy a feature, friend. Really. You're awesome! I was afraid to make the map here. Do not want to spoil your wonderful work with the tiles. I think the result is a map fluid and relaxed, really not very complicated, so the player can marvel at the tiles. Also I think both parts are well connected and featuring some different mechanics. I'ts also good for improve the run again and again, I really hope that you like it!!

15-4: Lockuno -
Great! Loved the challenge here man and the use of enemies on that cool-looking row! Plays hard and wonderfully, and here some cool fancy jumps! I really like the action here and its challenge. I've only made a minor change. I've removed one of the locked door and replaced it to a gold row, since the harsh difficulty of the challenge, giving to it like a additional challenge if you want to go for all gold, but not being forced to do to complete the map., I'm talking about that mechanic/challenge in the gauss chamber. I think that's better now, making this something eligible. All of the rest were perfect, I'm not sure if you're aware of how good this map is, mate.

You've done a really, really good jod my friend!!

MOSS REPORT 1

I'll use my the23 account to diferenciate these post from the previous ones. On this first post i'll talk about the maps you've made from that figuresSS tiles. I've already ordered the maps into the 2nd column. I've also to say that this time i nearly edited anything from your maps, as I've said before, that day you were inspired man!! <3

15-0: Lockdos -
Pretty beauty and relaxed map. I really liked it. Loved how it flows and a couple of tricky movements into it. Only added a couple of one-ways to flow, you know ;)

15-1: Hegemile -
Wow! This is one of my personal favorites of the episode, and a map that I enjoyed a lot playing and jumping around as not to long ago with a map. Everything here works perfectly, the rocket are not too hard but plays wonderfully and the jumps here are just marvelous!! Really loved its flow man! Good job! Only removed the mine on the exit switch tube that was make it impossible. Added also a gold to aesthetics and a couple one-ways in the exit area. ;)

15-2: Locktres -
Liked the jumps here and how it works. Also, that gauss it devilish, just loved it man. Also, nother point that I like on this map are the multiples routes. Good mapA, added some trapdoors to make it more interesting, but didn't change anything, i like that, you map pretty well this time. ;)

15-3: Subrec -
Wowowowow! Closely, my second top favorite! I liked that tiles, and i like how you nearly haven't change anything of them. You have created and wonderfunl jumping map here. I like the fucking four gauss combo and the mines here. Here, I've added a bit more, I added a row of one-ways at bottom to flow at the return back but also to aesthtics. I've edited a bit the top and middle golds to harmony with the whole map and aesthetics. About the top golds, there three ways to take them, cheating one-ways, doing a cornerkick from the middle, and doing a super harsh crazy jump from the exit area, I felt that all these options were demonized, so, I removed a mine on top to make it easier and flowy, you see.. ;)

Improved AGD

Not as fast as swipenet in NReality but finally beating macrohenry with innoving the fall from the exit switch. Agreed with macro this map is pretty fun to improve the run again and again. Beat the sub700 swipenet's run it's also possible.

I don't see your maps yet, but you have made 5 maps in the time that I've made only one!!! :P I'm really show at mapping, even you won like a hour of difference.. Wow! In my case i got agd, i don't know if you do the same?

Ok, I'm putting all the rejected maps in a txt, also with the un-used guest maps, and the original tiles not used. I'm putting in these tiles some object and exit and ninja to make it them playables ones. All this will be for the Director's Cut.
Another thing, is about the previews to the 1st column on NUMA, you have chosen good maps, but i thought you were going to present 01-2: I Dry My Hair With Magnet Storms, I would love to see this map on NUMA. I thought something, so far we have presented six maps, three each one, 02-1, 07-2, 05-0 you, and me 04-4, 05-4 and one with a bean from the eight episode. So I think we can preview two more, but only two more. I think 8 are already many. What you think to preview 01-2 you? and 00-3: Nekrogoblikon me? I think it's cool. Tell me.

Also, in another hand, how's is goin MUCH LOVE METANET SERIES. We must not forget this. ;)

Ok, here the second mission to you. ;)
I have done some figures and structures in the editor. There are 5 tilesets, but will not be the final tiles for each map. What does this mean? You should make a map (complete with objects and all) for each set of tiles. But you should not limit you to use the tiles as they are. They are just figures, and placed there simply disordered. You must give to each tile the order, re-organize and reposition these figures, copy, paste, edit, you can do whatever you want, basing on the gameplay. But the end result should be a very flowy episode, with the tiles completely different from that I've send to you, but using the figures that each contains. You should also give harmony. And then you make the maps there, remind, flowy maps. ;) Good luck, you're a great mapper!!

Ok, that's your first mission.
The other day around IRC, I've asked to traveleravi 5 tilesets like he ussually do. Something pattern-ish, symmetric and fractal ones. He done really well the job. Now your mission is twist them and send to me to make 5 maps. I'll explain..

You see, I've twisted the tiles, (pretty bad btw :P) but I think you're able to do this much better than me. You're really good with tiles, and I want from you that you twist the traveleravi's tiles in crazy ways, deforming these, breaking the symmetries yet keeping them, up, down, up the middle, where you want, inventing, being creative, defragmenting for example. I hope you perfectly understand what i want, and I'm pretty sure you're capable to do great and crazy thing keeping in essence the tiles, but twisting them a lot. When you have the 5 twisted tilesets send to me, i'll make the objects. ;)

Oh yes, we should continue with the second column of MOSS.
We have already two episodes there, the marasme episode and the guest episode. I'm making another whole episode for this second column with the great macrohenry, so 'fashion' metanet-ish, you'll see, it's really nice. Then, when this one are finished so there are three episodes. But now we need to continue my friend ;)
