Description | So here is an Idea. People lesser comment maps last time. So why don´t make a Ranking System. E.G. If you write 100 comments you are a Comunity Friend. Take a look at this and please don´t ignore it.
I think of a Ranking System like this: 0-9: New User 10-49: Ninja Trainee 50-99: Mineavoid Ninja 100-199: Community Friend 200-499: Tutorial Ninja 500-999: Profi Ninja 1000-1999: Community Master 2000-4999: Legend 5000+: Master Panda Special Ranks: 222: Zap Drone 666: Pit Lord 1337: Unbeatable Date when you create you Profil (month+day): Birthday (E.G. Month 4 Day 25 Number: 425) The Rank will be showed under the Name of the User |

Not a fan.
As soon as something is implemented, it will be abused.

With the very small activity going on numa
in a week or two everyone would be the only "high-rank" people playing on numa. good idea, but considering the massive emptiness of numa lately, this idea wouldn't work out so well. would be like giving a head start fo rthose who are here. probably when NUMA, with a miracle, gets an ascending number of online population, this idea could be taken in mind, and of course the regulations to make it work like destiny says, because this community is mainstream, just to relate to one of your previous maps :P

This isn't a very good map. Why didn't you include some enemies? It's really short. The tiles are pretty cool though.

I am spamming comments right now
just to increase my rank. Hopefully, I'll run NUMA one day.

Accaully,
I read through Destiny idea and it seems alright. But lets face it, this will never be implemented.

Actually
i like the comment like idea, but the demo no.

@ Destiny
for the demo "like" it should be different, cause thier are alot of people who arnt "skilled" but know what they are talking about.

Destiny brings up a great point.
Sounds like a good idea to me.
Basically, your comment 'count' doesn't actually increase when you post a comment. The only time your count would increment is when the author of the map on which you have posted a comment 'likes' (or some NUMA equivalent) the comment you posted.
This way, the count will only increment when somebody posts a useful comment or maybe an impressive demo - things that contribute positively towards NUMA.

Complicated things
It would be difficult to evaluate everything, and everything had an order.
I just think we were, we who settle NUMA, which we must raise awareness, and make this a pleasant community. Where the maps are commented, criticized, are rated, played. As the heyday of NUMA '07, '08, '09.
The Speedrunners should be happy with this. 4

But then
multi accounters would destroy it -.-

How about instead of coments
it is how many of your maps have been rated, so the "newbies" could almost never get a rank because they spamm their maps.

Spam, yeah... the guys have pretty much covered it all here. Also, if such a system were created it would seem natural for comments only to be counted if they included constructive criticism, or reasonably detailed responses of how they found the map. Comments simply consisting of demos are nice of course - they obviously provide challenges, and it's interesting to see what highscorers can make of a map - but they do not make any references to the map itself, so in terms of actual 'commenting' they are useless.
It's a nice idea in itself, but in reality I can't see it happening successfully.

There'd be a lot of room for abuse.
I like the idea a lot, and I think that it should be implemented for New NUMA whenevever incluye & friends are done with it, but people would just be making maps where you post random bullshit. And then there's past maps. How would you regulate those who've stopped posting/playing but still maintain a high rank? It'd clutter up the system, and you can't really just delete them.
My bite of the apple. Slander it however you please. :X

Not a fan. NOT A FAN
Mostly because if they introduced an idea like that, NUMA would become a kindergarten one day.
Anyways, you can spam comments and what.
