This month's NUMACON winner was exceptional. Seneschal's relatively basic tileset was perfectly set off by complimentary and engaged enemies. What's Going On had the perfect mixture of symmetry and uniqueness to provide a fast-paced but not too frustrating map, and it looked better than symmetrical maps usually do. Great job. — flagmyidol

Tiles don't have to be complicated to be good or creative. There's a beauty in certain sorts of simplicity too, and I really like the simple design of this map, it feels like it would fit snugly into an episode (which hopefully it will at some point). Or at least, that's part of what I intended.

That said, I do kinda agree with what you wrote in your title. I don't think this is one of my best, and I am somewhat baffled by the level of adulation it has received (though pleasantly so).

We're all the other entries really that bad?

I played this at submit, 3.5/5 i guess. I didn't see any creativity, just incredibly easy and oversimplified tiles, and i thought judges might actually be looking for theme this time as opposed to containing one aspect.
