Map Data

After more or less a month of solid mapping, the first chapter of The Arborist's Edition (GTM's first episodic map pack) is complete and available in txt form! Please feel free to download the txt from my designated thread, as well as observe other important details about the pack.

Several changes have been made to address problems with the maps before they were released to the txt, so it's worth downloading the txt not only for easy access and your own enjoyment, but also a level of GTM mapping above what you've seen on NUMA so far!

I'm also collecting feedback as to whether I should continue the map pack with another episode in the future, so please voice your opinions about the continuation either on this map or on the thread. Thanks in advance! I hope everyone enjoyed this episode as much as I did!

Flawless. Pretty lovely. Downside drone path is cool. Short but funny map. Like a little box of tasty cookies. They aren't so much, but it makes them so tasty.
I was sad because of money problems in my life, but this map made me happy. I don't know how :)

Here is my really fast AGD demo:

Random digits

The trees were symettrical before, which was half of the problem.

I like it.

But... the tree things aren't symmetrical :(

@ mam: I think starting to the right would be faster.

Exciting

relaxed, and fun at the same time

Pretty fun.

I enjoyed it, but I didn't enjoy the bottom half as much as the top. Still pretty good though, and I'll be sure to check out the pack. ^^

3.5^.
I'll download the pack shortly ^_^

OMG

love the map.

wow.

I just love it. it's like....... minimalistic (to me) but AMAZING. Love the drones, and the mines.
Demo Data

Pretty good.

But it's not that flash :( It looks cool but when you play it is doesn't seem to be one of those maps which you want to play again just for the sake of it
3.5 up.

LOVED IT!

very good map, 7/5 if I could!, love the drones, first time ever for me that those doors worked. The tileset was great, the gold and mine placement was more than perfect, a truly great map! excellent work! :D

Yes Yes YES!

Continue!

Lol

hehe.. :)

Aww...

/me <3 GTM

This is the best

AGD I can do so far but I love the map love the tiles 4.3/5. The only thing I would maybe change is to be able to reach the outside all those nice tiles I wanna get out there it wouldn't even have to fulfill any purpose. Anyway great map and fun to try and speed run even though I have little skills great routes great timing great ...

This map is a rehash of one of the first maps to be made in the pack, and received a large amount of criticism which ultimately pushed me away from some generic themes. basically, I've modified it to be less generic, and general have more consistent and polished gameplay.

The bottom was completely redrafted, and should hopefully be more fun and more consistent. The switches were also removed to encourage more freedom and to make the map less derivative.

A prime example of the changes Ive made to most of the maps in my pack to ensure faults are remedied. Not all of the changes will be as comprehensive as this; most of them are much more subtle and thus didnt warrant resubmission to NUMA.

Again, here's to the map pack!
Atob: For providing genuinely useful feedback, so I know what changes to act up in future maps, and definitely shifting most of the map pack away from slightly generic roots (hence the title ;P)
PNI: For making the effort to look through all of the maps in the pack and providing feedback on most. Congrats for being a real good sport.
Erik-Player: For supporting me and being honest about my maps, and for considering me as one of his favorite members of the community. Here's to you!
