Ratings may not matter to some people, but they still can affect someone's opinion of the map subconsciously. If they see a bad rating, they'll likely start the map thinking, "This will probably not be good," or, even worse, ignore the map completely. But yeah, I agree that antisniping for no reason is just as bad as sniping.

i'll agree will you that i cant AGD worth shit. but i dont rate 0,1, or 2s because i cant beat it. i test every room every section when i play some ones map. untill i can atleaset do it. and if i liked it boom 4 or 5.

You can't expect some noobie to do this because they aren't good at the game. I don't expect any noobie to just run through my thwump challenges (if you post AGD demos on 1-16, I'll give you 30 RCEs), actually I don't even expect Xaelar (well, maybe Xaelar) to run through them with ease.
