Description I watched a vid by Cucumber Boy and got inspired. Heres my humble interpretation of his style, with a few twists by me, probably making it more generic in the process :/
Hope its not too bad.

like I said, a 9minute map

Sorry, but

another 3 from me. It was definitely generic, and some of the mines looked crappy. It was above average, but not quite 4-worthy. (or maybe I'm just saying that to make myself feel better, so that you'll maybe have a three-rated map like me)

darn....looks like this'll be my first 3 rated map :(

it's a start

trying to fabricate other people style's can be difficult. The location of the exit pretty much massacred the gameplay, as did the pattern of the gold (or maybe I just suck that bad!) and of course there's tile thickness consistency and mine distribution consistency and all that jazz, but don't worry about it, this is a good quality, average map.
