Decent map
I like it, but it could be better. The map didn't really seem cohesive overall. It was just like a mashup of 4 things: the thwump beginning, the top part, the gold in the center sections, and the rocket corridors. As for the parts themselves:
- The thwumps at the start seemed out of place and added little to the gameplay (IMO), but they were interesting in a race-like way.
- I liked the rocket corridor on the left, but the right one felt unnecessary, especially since the gauss is tracking you.
- The center gold was on the boring side for me. It just takes too long to gather - it's unguarded and there's two sections on each side.
- The top part was fine.
There's something (positive) to be said for the overall effect of them together as well. Overall, would be 3/5.

I got everything I wanted for Christmas.
And not only that, but more. =D
As for the map, it was kinda fun. I didn't enjoy it as much as I could have, mainly because there was a bit too much going on, with the rockets, the thwumps, and the gauss on your trail. Still, it was well put together, and I give it a 3.5^ again and faved. Again. =)

Well, I agree with maxson924, it is fun but you could manage to make something different that that thing with rocket. But it is a good anyway. I prefer maps that are in one part, but this one is good anyway. I'd give 4/5 if ratings were enabled.

Btw, thanks for the comment, and I made that map a long time ago, when I was new and aesthetics didn't really matter to me (and I just read that forum yesterday; :P it is a great guide). However, I thought I placed plenty of care into the object placement... Idk, but if there was something wrong with the objects, could you let me know specifically so I can get better?

fun, made for some good jumps, nice thwump use here.
i liked the use of mines aswell, good shapes, if a little inconsistent. long and fun. fourtastic, not excellent but very good fun.
