Fork
This map was featured on 2013-04-17
I like forks a lot more than spoons because I rarely "eat" soups or sloppy things. It's not that I don't like soups, I do, I just prefer being able to sink my teeth in.
This map isn't sloppy in the slightest, in fact it's one of the most solid mine jumpers I've ever chowed on. It's compact and precise in both gameplay and style, and dat gold is a sight to behold.
I really wanted to write "may the fork be with you" somewhere in this review, but let's just pretend I'm more creative than that.

fun little challenge
"Internal" maps are kinda rare nowadays. At least good ones. Like this!

i once made mac and cheese
and then ate it in a frisbee
"You are the highest wisdom and reason mintnut?"
Is a strawman argument. I disagreed with you and provided the rationale for my position, and you replied with, "it's just my opinion". I am not the highest wisdom and reason, but I at least back up my opinions with valid arguments.
And no, that isn't self-centred egotism.

Eurgh.
Just because something is your opinion does not make it unquestionable. You cannot hold up the word opinion as some kind of shield against rational argument.
'Hating' people for having the cheek not to thank their gracious reviewer is abhorrent and the idea that it is somehow worse when it's your first feature actually offends me. It shows a level of self-centred egotism that is totally repugnant.
@leo, you totally failed to stay out of it, yet totally didn't add anything of worth to the debate.

I am totally staying out of this
but both of you have a point. It is dignified to not respond, although it is also polite to mention a thank you, because it /is/ a deserved feature, but quick thanks should probably still be given out.
just my opinion

Just what I was trying to say,
kiaro is totally right, nothing is necessary or required, but still I hate when that happens. It's just my opinion.

I was joking, but ok

Maybe I'm late to the party here
but,
"I always hate when people do not thank when got a featured map, even more when it is his first feature."
TOTAL RUBBISH.
No reviewer should be reviewing maps for thank yous and no mapper should feel obliged to thank anyone for featuring their maps, if someone features your map then you deserve it, there should be no gratitude asked or given.
As a matter of fact, the 'coolest' option is almost always to maintain a dignified silence. So yeah, you totally were cool until you started replying dagga.

Really well placed mines! The E tile design fits perfectly with them. 4-4.5!

agree with poon's first comment
While the normal doors offend my aesthetic sensibilities, the mine action is absolutely fantastic.
Nice map, nice feature.

always fun to see trapdoors used :)
this was pretty fun, it was the perfect length. makes me wish checkpoints were possible, a string of these with breaks in between would be fun
