Description | *** For the Monday Night Numa Map League.
Week #001, Theme: Homing Launchers *** I had two clear concepts to build this map on: enjoyability and non-linearity. In other words, I put fun and playability on ahead of everything, trying to create a "freestyle" map. Freestyle map is a map where you have no set path, so that you can create innovatory routes to pass it. Getting to the exit is not much of a challenge, so I'd prefer to see all gold demos. You'll be surprised by the amount of routes available: sometimes, even I was. There are dozens of possibilities, and there's no cheating. Everything's allowed. I worked all day with this map, and I'm very, very glad about the way it turned out. Sometimes I surprise even myself. Freestyle maps have only one rule: N-joy! And yes, there's another stupid-looking thumbnail. :y Don't judge the book by its covers. |

Hmm...
Very high playability, but....
1.Single placed gold is ugly and isn't usually worth the time to get. Try doubling or tripling up the gold next time.
2.The tileset. Ugh. Clean up the corner-touching and sharp edges. Also, if you put decorative tiles off to the side and chuck the one-ways (there are better ways to prevent a player from going up with tiles), that generally adds to the asethetical side of the map.
That said, it's still a good map, so 4/5.
