Description Just for the record the weather today is slightly sarcastic with a good chance of a) indifference and b) disinterest in what the critics say

his style is very different. personally, i love it (i was a_g btw). as for atob, hes just very critical i think. i think his maps are pretty comparable to yours. but i do agree that its too long. going around twice woulda been enough. and i dont feel that the floorguards being hidden "backfired" like maximo made it sound. its not hard to jump directly over them
heres an agd. much faster than spect's but still improvable by a few hundred frames. (as you can see, even a fast demo is still pretty long)

you really hit the nail on the head right there. Haha it's so great to sing them and fallout boy with people and strangers.

And the other day I was watching a Panic! at the disco video.

It turns out it was a fallout boy video! What antics

Indeed they do.

But they're still catchy as... contagious illnesses...

Anyway. They're a _great_ band for singing with friends on public transport if you're in a carriage with just the group of you and one or two sligtly freaked out randoms. It's great.
but still a good 4/5.

WEHEEE............

aerodynamic
straetamic
preeflamic
--> 5/5

Original LV?

It's really just a mesh of done ideas.
I'm not attacking or anything, it's a very fine map. But aesthetics aside, I just don't see how it stands out.
And cool gameplay!
Excellent map, Mr Forminca.

Crazy original

A nice change from the maps we see all the time here on Numa. This felt new to me. Cheers. Favorited.
"Start talking a sensational lisp, always slightly clever to just a certain extent, whoah keep quiete and let us sing like a (?) and then decide if it's sung with purpose of lack thereof....

Just for the record, the weather today..."

Dear Maximo,

I'd be more inclined to debate if your opinion wasn't always wrong.

(... ha. ha. ha.)

Anyway, all jokes aside, I get what you're saying- the level felt a bit clunky to me, too, especially around the very top with the second platform, the ceiling, and the little curvy thing. However, in the end I preffered the clunky, good looking version to the other one I have lying around My Documents.

Anyway, on your claim that "you can land on the bounce block and jump before he can touch you"... originally, this was virtually impossible, untill I added the extra bounce blocks to help hide the floorguards properly. (Otherwise they'd be visible under most of the bounce blocks you'd touched.) I agree, you can do it, but- just personally- I find it very hard to master, not to mention touchy and easy to screw up, and thus prefer the 'proper' way. (Though this would definately depend on the player.)

On the bottom, that's definately true, but I thought the aesthetics were too good to waste and added 'atmosphere' and stuff.

Anyway, all in all, I agree... But I find that, if you play the level 'properly' (which I find easier) the right part does change quite dramatically each of the three cycles.

The repetition of the floorguards was intentional, though, not thoughtless- I rather wanted to showcase this idea and that was the best way to do it.

Dear The Adster-
Yup, it was intentional. I was rather hoping somebody would catch that. :P

"Next is a trip to the ladies room in vain and I bet you just can't keep up (keep up) with the fashion mia stars, tonight tonight yo uare, a whispering campaign, I bet to them your name is cheap, I bet to them you look like sh- (eep?)

Talk to the mirror, oh choke back tears and keep telling yourself that "I'm a Diva!"
Oh and the smokes on the ciggarrete box on the table just so happen to be laced with nitroglycerin."

Anyway. Have a demo.

for all you know the 5/5 could have = 4.75 out of five and one more 4.5 would bring it down to a 4.5/5 overall. It only dropped like 4 spots on the top pages, so it obviously didn't get anything less than a 3, let alone "2 or 3 zeros"

OHMGOSHZORIZORISIS!!!! N00BZES SNIPP4D U!!!!!!

ugh...

>stardesh

Get over it :p

Maximo: I agree.

Cool design, but clunky gameplay.
And the repetition of the floor guard parts felt a little thoughtless.

Still, a very solid 4/5.
and so did alot of ppl....but you've been sniped...it would take like 2 or 3 zeros to bring down all the 5's that ppl voted...so that proves you've been sniped...
but the gameplay felt very subpart and repetative. Sure the 2nd and 3rd time you had to do the right was different but not in any way that changed the way you did the level since no matter what side the floorguard is on you can land on the bounce block and jump before it can touch you, which is the fastest way to do this level anyways, so what difference is there in if I can see him or not? Plus, the bottom is clunky to move through and you ahve to do it twice, there i no point for such an otherwise smooth flowing map to have a cluncky unchallenging part to do twice, let alone once. the left side was the only enjoyable side for me, and even that wasn't as satisfying as other airborn mine fields i've played around in. I don't like to hate on maps everyone else loves but I just don't see any reason for the excitement here.

wow

19 votes and an average over 4.75, thats impressive. I gave it a 4.5

...

Great concept. The second and third trips and significantly more difficult than the first.
but i want to take advantage of this level's success...

amazing lvl formica -- i don't have a hope, noob that i am.

can u guys check out my latest map and give me constructive criticism??? it will only take 2 ticks.

5/5

Wow, nice tileset and gameplay!

5

Absolutely beautiful tileset. The main section is vaguelyreminiscent of Platformula, except less annoying.

There is really nothing wrong with this map at all.
Yay! 4.5/5s All Round!
Please, leave all overcoats, canes and top hats with the doorman.
And from that moment, you'll be out of place and underdressed.
I'm wrecking this evening already and loving every minute of it.
Ruining this banquet for the mildly inspiring and...

When you're in black slacks with accentuating, off-white, pinstripes
Whoa, everything goes according to plan...

Well we're just a wet dream for the webzines,
Make us it, make us hip, make us scene
Or shrug us off your shoulders
Don't approve a single word that we wroooooooooooooooote...

I love this level as much as the songs... especially the lap theme and the left hand side. I also like your hide-the-floor-guards-behind-the-bounce-blocks thing you do.

this...

its magnificant!
