for a first DDA
it's not too bad. you haven't used stacks of launchpads or enemies. one thing you can do, to avoid using long strings of trapdoors for propulsion, is to use z-snap on them to make them more powerful. Putting the trap button at 3/4 of a tile away works fine, but what you can do is move the button back two pixels (with z-snap) and the trapdoor becomes a lot more powerful. It just saves stacking them up.

pretty good,
one cool thing to use in dda's is to have rockets that almost kill you many times, or where the ninja ends up following the rocket in it's tail :)
