imo

way too difficult for the length. Try not to have rockets in a mine jumper and you may want to use z-snap to give a little more margin for error. It's more fun that way because the player can get farther in the map without making any big mistakes.

Yeah, you might want to download an IRC client (connect to irc.mountai.net) and get on. Ask some people to playtest; many people are willing to do so. Many of them also offer their recommendations to the map. Just be sure to credit them ;)

eganic

i read through all of that just now, and I
always playtest my maps. I use c-snap and rarely z-snap. as for everything else, k.

don't use so many mines purely for aesthetics. you can make it look nice by using half this many mines and still acquire the same general gameplay. nobody likes a laggy minejumper, players need the quickest reaction time they can get to beat a minejumper.

use different kinds of tiles for different kinds of jumps. broaden your horizon. most minejumpers are ugly, don't sacrifice clever jumps and angles for a typical but clean tileset composed of one-tiles.

don't become a slave to the x-snap. x-snap is limiting. c-snap is usually best. z-snap can get tricky, but it does some cool things if you've got a steady hand and you know what you're doing.

it's cramped enough. you don't need rockets unless you're gonna give the player some room to manuever around them. a good minejumper is almost always better than a hard minejumper.

always playtest. don't just assume something's possible unless you've got enough experience to know exactly what happens when you put whatever items in whatever position. even then you should still playtest until you're certain its completable. user's like to be cheated. if you can't prove that the map is possible without a demo then you probably shouldn't submit it. not always the case, but usually. if you can't beat it, find someone who can and ask them for a completion demo. i'm sure many members would oblige.
but it didint rele effect my loading time at all so idk. More fun than ur first jumper but i cant beat it :\

could've

use less mines, but I think it turned out pretty good.
