i remember playing this a while back

and thinking that it had ruined the flow of the start. but now i see potential in this. you had your own flow style even back here. and when you took that potential later, and ran with it, and brought in your own concepts and creativity, you became a pretty good author. you have my endorsement.

Nice work.

I'm glad that you didn't stick too rigidly to what you started with, and edited bits. I still didn't like the central top chimney much, though it was better imo. The gauss worked well there.

Enemies were generally good but a bit mixed: The Lazer on the left occasionally killed me when I felt I'd done nothing wrong, and NANing it seems a bit lazy too given that it could have been timed without too much hassle :P. Some of the rockets didn't seem to do much either. I usually don't like drones in races, but I felt they might have been quite cool if you'd have got them to work here.

The final product is a solid enough map, I'm glad someone fished it :). 3.5v
