Description | Taking suggestions from the public, I have temporarily stopped making open maps, and decided to make more enclosed maps instead. This race map is probably one that took me the least amount of time, yet it's almost the same length as my other races.
Suggestion for future maps are welcome. Also, Fastest speedrun and/or AGD, by any means possible, will get deds in my next map. Please Rate, Comment and Enjoy. |

ok, the flow was good, but not satisfying...each part didn't really flow that smoothly into the next.
and as destiny said, u need a theme for the tiles etc.
otherwise nice work. and good to see a more enclosed race from you.

i like it
some good flow. i'll give it a 3.5^ too.
aesthetically, just because its less open doesn't mean you can make the loops obvious. quite a few of those tiles at the top weren't needed and you can take advantage of that when you do your theming. keeping destiny happy is tricky - trial and error will get you there eventually! you had a good go at a theme but i don't think it really worked here, just keep trying.
don't worry about the length of your races. most people are more interested in quality than length, the perfect example being Shrapnel [nmaps.net]. What you did here and on the last one is use quite a few trapdoors at the end, which imo makes for fairly unexciting flow, and i'd rather it just ended a bit sooner.
the other thing about your maps is the difficulty is more irritating than challenging. hence i have not bothered to get a good AGD, i just don't feel like it :/. i've no idea what causes this, but it will probably improve with time.

Good themes tend to be the most complex ones. Or maybe not, I guess a simple theme could work pretty well, but it would be more difficult. Kinda.
I can't really say what a good theme is, it doesnt even have to be anything real - you can just make it up and label it the 'MattyMc theme'. That's what i tend to do.

the only part that was actually tough was the bottom left, so im not sure what slick means :P
I think that your flow is pretty good, still improvable but definately solid. You need to work now on aesthetics and theming. Give your races a theme (like industrial, or something more imaginative :P), and then create that theme through the flow and tiles etc
