Description | Inspired by wulfgang and, to an extent, blackson. That curvy theme was hard to break out of, so I've disguised it a little more here with some different gameplay. Also, cec. Only reason I'm making this.
After this contest, I'm probably going to take a break from mapping, indefinitely. I've got other projects that I want to work on, and this seems to interfere with it. Plus, I'm stuck in this curvy rut :) I'll still be on here to review and stuff, but you definitely won't see me mapping for the pack for a while. All it seems to do is foster yet more generic maps, so I think I'll leave that behind after the next episode. Also, blame eganic. |

To be quite honest, I've seen little to no authors that make maps like you. It's only generic if the maps are nearly exactly the same concept every time, which they are apparently.

i think ur to tense, every situation ive seen u in that u didnt like something u snapped (ex:note the "im quiting numa, good bye" rule with exuberence's map)
if u relaxed a little and made maps sparingly like i do, u could put time into ur novel, enjoy numa, and give urself a cooling period so u dont try destroying someone

What you need to do is restart. Start simple and different, and then develop from there. Make a few simple, basic maps and build on the style.

I agree with mintnut a bit. I think the idea would have worked better in the middle of the map and the tunnel areas would then be used for getting back up to the top when one fell down outside of the bounceblock/one-way area.

If you think about it
No map is generic. Sure, you can think so when pitted against Yahoozy, Losttortuga or even Zivilyn_Bane. But in the long run, you'll see that it's a style, and you only think it's generic because it's your style, and you naturally want to make more maps out of it. Or, that should be your reaction.
