Map Data

Description searching over forgotten ruins for the long lost gold. rusty turrets still patrol the ruins, still working on their ancient programming, intent on finding any intruders. as for the ninja, it is his old home, his sanctuary. he's visiting it for the last time, before he is executed for treachery.
he'd rather die at the hands of the noble defenders of his home, last reprogammed by himself to kill anyone in sight, than at the impure hands of the corrupted rebels soon to take him away.
he will take his gold with him to the grave.

apologies to those who hate resubbed maps. i needed to resub for cmc2. redone.

Fun map. A wish you spiced it up with some more gold/enemies. Other than that, flawless.

@RF

QFE. I'm gonna start scanning for apse maps now.
Faved for later play.

after playing

it needs a lot more gold (i played in userlevels, and died near the end; i had only 25 seconds left, and my run was pretty decent to that point). also, while the chainguns did a good job of preventing the player from taking shortcuts, they never killed me once; idk if they were meant to be a challenge. i liked most of the mines, but not the aesthetic ones at the bottom-right and bottom-left. but great tileset and atmosphere. 3.5v

Thanks for the RCE's apse. :]
it's getting old :P

thanks

the trapdoors

were very well incorporated
desolate, despairing, crumbling, ancient.
