I present to you a 4-way collab between shortshift, [nmaps.net] toasters, [nmaps.net] blackson [nmaps.net] and I. I've had a great time here at NUMA, and I am excited for the many years to come. ps- blackson's contribution to the map was the singular piece of gold located behind the thwumps. Genius amiright? |

Honestly
The mine placement had me heaving. The gauss at the beginning did not meld with the thwumps whatsoever, and neither did the thwumps fit in. Both floorguards were meaningless, and the tiles/gold/chaingun were so restrictive that I had to almost double back every single time I wanted gold.
Playing levels is supposed to be a fun and enjoyable experience, but this was more excruciating and morose.
The only thing I like was the ending because the map was over.

Pretentious? Unnecessary? Ugly? Those all fit, and it really doesnt enhance the gameplay either.

*Individual opinion*
I liked the bottom the most; Iliked how the path came together and made the player feel awesome when he first does it. The thwumps were pretty cool. The exit switch chamber felt horribly contrived. Other than that, the rest was pretty solid but most of the time it felt a little poor-mas-hoohah. Good mine placement overall. And I liked it, so I'm giving it a 3.5 up. I don't care about the generic atmosphere, because that wasnt the focus of the map, imo.

Radium, just because you think that Im_bad_at_N makes bad maps, does not mean he cannot have a valid opinion on a map.

Phil gives a Theme of "Drones". Tom, Dick, and Harry all submit Maps based on drones. Phil picks Harry's map because it has a cool name. Harry is now the Judge.

2 thwumps and a floor guard in, like 8 tile spaces to move in. The bottom sucked imo, but the top was hot. The top was Radium. The top could only be pulled of by the king of chainguns. :)

I don't like this at all.
The generic 'inside cave map' with messy objects has been used far too many times on NUMA. This map is not helped by lack of control given to the ninja chaotic nature of the objects. There is no originality, and the used structure has not even been pulled off well. On old NUMA, I would rate 1.5/5 but today I am rating 1/5.

Not too fast, but an AGD nonetheless. This map is great, it reminds me of a childhood adventure: so trivial, yet so important.
