How do you sit at a blank N map and come up with something so simple but so brilliant?

The maps I spend more than 10 minutes on are usually the ones that don't get any comments

Hm it is interesting
I mean really cool idea and all, but it is so short
However, no reason I guess why a map like this shouldn't be played or posted, as its plenty fun
But like Mop (lol) said, there are a lot of maps identical to this in that they are short, small, and take little time, just inspiration. And those maps never get seen :(
But since you're a reviewer with 700 maps, you can make 5 maps a day taking 5-20 minutes a piece and still get a bazillion comments and a 4-5 rating, not to mention dozens of speedruns and agds.
Just a thought, and its not you're fault everyone looks at your maps :P
