Too much gold in my opinion.
And you didn't really use the tileset a lot with the objects. But it was fun to play. 3/5.

put it in corners. put more in the harder to get gold than the easy gold. like if its easy put like 5 if its hard put somethig like 5 - 20. or more idk. try that.

Bam beat it
30th try. if there wasnt that much gold i was gunna give a 5
but 4 should do nicely really good spots for every enemy besides the chaser drone hes useless.

Wow
So here's what you need to work on:
- Enemy placement: Chill out. You don't need one of every type. More importantly, you don't need 2 per section. Put a shooting enemy here, another one there, add in a zap drone, and do anything else you want to with mines. Keep it simple, make each enemy effective, and give each enemy a unique purpose.
- Gold: Here's one way you can put gold in. Either as you're making your level or once you've made it, think about where you want the player to be required to go. In this case, you picked the top room with the exit switch. Fine. Then pick other parts of the map where you think the player should be rewarded for going. That's where you put gold. For example, I would put gold on the corner on the underside of the platform that you start on. And then another patch below the thwump, in the little hole formed by the tileset. Maybe another patch in the top left, in the alcove between the gauss and the laser. Make it purposeful like that. Does that help?
