Description This one's actually a race against time. You'll see what I mean. There is no room for mistakes, just flow through it. Look at flow demo if confused.

This may just be my best race yet. Tell me what you think.

EDIT:Be on the lookout for another RCE challenge, and my 200th map.

Good point

But that is not only why I did that. When I recieve info that I've not known, and it messes up the entire point of the map, I delist it.

Delisting a map

so your next one counts is like having a 75th aniversary every year.
What I liked:

Some cool ideas. I loved the bounceblock-inside-of-mine-with-thwumps-on-the-side IDEA, but it could've been executed a bit better. IMO the first time it was good but the second and third times were a bit more iffy.

It was also pretty long and generally flowy throughout.

What I didn't like:

The tileset didn't fit in... in some recent maps of yours the flowy tiles seem to blend into the cavelike tiles to create a very nice atmosphere...not so in this map. Also, even if you found a way to fit the race in to these tiles I didn't really like them anyway.

The doors at the bottom are just annoying :P

The enemies are pretty random and kill me too much DX

If you got lucky it's possible to get the door after the drones are there and still win. That's kind of a minor issue though, I'm not endorsing cheating, just letting you know if the timing happened to work out perfectly it is possible.

Hope this helps... I'm rating a 3.5 rounded up. Your races have been getting better but I don't like this one :(

P.S. The idea I think you wanted to get across with the tiles (or at least what I got from them) was a sort of power-orb giving off energy, it ALMOST worked but instead it just looked bad. (wow that sounds crazy...I meant kinda like a sun)

far from flawless
1 - Terrible gold placement, absolutely abysmal. Why do you have them in the tiles, it baffles me, us highscorers and just players in general are annoyed when you get punished for going too fast.

2 - It looked aweful, consider your aesthetics and try and perfect the look and gameplay before submitting, if everybody did this we would experience much better maps

3 - Left Chaingun fire too random, especially going up into the final loop. why you didn't put a turret or a mine or SOMETHING else is beyond me

4. Some tile/one-way combinations should be improved..

What I liked:

1 - Flow was instinctive
2 - I liked the race against the drones but it is cheatable (kind of)
3 - Thwumps were mostly good (left one should have a been a fraction higher for fast jumpers though (AKA me)

Tileset wasn't horrible, but wasn't great either.
I liked the unique parts of the flow. 4/5.
It got me on my first run, "was I supposed to bounce all the way back?" 5/5aved. Unique. Also, a ded to you has been posted.

Just at the corners is all. And the tiles look rancid.
But it's quite fun to play, so fix the aesthetics and you've got a good map.

Idk. Guess the idea just wasn't right for my taste. But I don't want to relist it until I get back to 200 again. :P
But I got it. I agree with spudzalot on the flow and the use of bounceblocks. 4/5 and favorited.

By the way, why did you ever delist your Cavernous [nmaps.net] map?

I love the unexpected flow and the crazy use of bounce blocks. My only complaints:
1. It should not have been timed.
2. The "5" tilese and normal doors looked horrid.

Everytime I add a chaingun to a race, there always seems to be a problem with it that I had never encountered. Try it again. Is it still happening?
