Description | Wow, I'm so happy to finally release this map. I have play-tested, and gone back to edit this level at least 30 times now. I am finally happy with the gameplay.
If anyone can figure out the weird flow to this map, and beats my AGD,They will receive a DED. Because frankly, this level is really hard. But once you get it down its really not that hard. Please RCE, I know it looks like a lot of stuff, and looks hard, but the gameplay makes up for it. |

Lo and behold
A faster AGD! (Also on NReality)
The map is neither awful nor great, but somewhere in between. I'm giving it a 3/5 because while it is rather long and hard and suffers from some poor thwump placement, it's actually pretty fun to flow in (once you find your own flow). But that's the thing - the flow I'm having fun with is not quite the flow you intended, StoneySmile.
I would break down the flow into 3 sections: the left, the top, and everything else. For the left side, I found your route to be very unintuitive, and I would wager that more players are using routes closer to mine than to yours. The top is relatively open and multi-path by design, so different paths are to be expected, and whether or not someone thinks this part of the map flows well is based on his/her own flow-finding skills. The rest of the map is relatively linear (or has an obvious route even if it's just an open room - i.e. the bottom right), so there's not much deviation. While the flow is occasionally awkward, the intended route is always relatively obvious. So you are correct in that there's some flow, but mam is also correct in that the flow can be awkward.
The best part of the map: The bottom right. Make more stuff like that.
The worst: The thwump usage. You have 8 thwumps in the map, most of which are there for only one shot. It's a waste of objects and it looks yucky.

yah,
that jump up the left is soo awkward. there is nott really any point in this map (I have completed it) where the flow was very smooth. I can seee placed where you try. Like at the top left, the bounce block pattern at the middle-top right and the trampoline at the bottom, but it doesn't really work I'm afraid...

But, you see, I forgot I had a responsibility to criticise stuff. I did think some balancing of views was needed in the comments though. A numa police would be good to to water down all the 5's handed out at the moment, they breed mediocrity,

Blatantly
Because the key points of good maps is that you have to be playing it right. Which was half of my problem, because I didn't have that singular route, the entire level felt like shit, but there you go. I mean, just listen to the idiots who have no idea what they're talking about when it comes to making maps, fine by me.
Plus, this level looks awful. Comment back, I'm enjoying this.

Not just to make you feel good, but the combination of the thwumps, rockets, and gauss were perfect to me. 5/5aved.
