like mrgy said, the edges need cleaning up at some places. the head on it's own is 5 worthy, I think the angled-ness and the wonky chest pulls it down.

have to be so aggressive, whether it is about pokemon, or n-art. When it comes down to it, its a matter of opinion, you can choose to hate this map, or like it. I really dont think Peanut will care about everyones desicion.

You could be using the time you had when creating your little post to do something more worthwhile, couldnt you?

Why does anyone make any maps at all on numa? I’m sure that the time that everyone spend playing N could be spent doing something more useful. But you’ve gotta do something for fun, right? That should be the reason why I make n-arts and it should be the reason why everyone else makes maps. It’s for fun. It is also the reason why I used n and not paint. It is more of a challenge to draw on N and to me that challenge is fun. Also Life247 is right. Another reason to take the time to make an n-art is to hear others comments. When I make an action map I usually get comments that are 3-5 words long and not at all interesting. But with a n-art I get a big page of comments. So seeing as you have made 144 maps you’ve wasted about as much of your time as I have. You and everyone here on numa could be spending their time doing something better with their life, but we all have to do something that interests us, if not we would all go crazy. That is why I make n-arts. I make them because they give me a break from action maps, they generate more discussions, and I think its fun.

dumb little opinionated people? look at all the discussion on LordOfPeanuts' map? THAT, my friends, are why n-artists are geniuses. doesn't matter what you draw, someone will hate it, and you've struck gold.

You could be funneling that time saved into making something much better.

Is this top rated good? Really? The third best map on Numa.

I'd have to say that the outlining with the rockets needs some fine tuning. Actually, it needs lots of fine tuning. Like mrgy said, the fact that you used c-snapping for the rockets makes it look a little sloppy.

Still a great map, though. I already rated it a five, although I'd change my opinion to 4.5.

especially superguh007. The card game and all that aren't great, but Nintendo have done a good job at it. I also agree with PsychoSnail, who says that it should be judged on the quality of the N-art, not the topic. However, I diagree with Templex.

Even though using paint is better, I think making an N-art requires A LOT more skill. And, as my ma always said, "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say it at all!"

However, I do agree with Templex's views on Daft Punk ;)

Rate what you think the N-art is like, not what other people think of the topic! I hope that one day, all maps will be rated like this.

I don't necessarily like the C-Snapping in most of the outlines, or the shading for that matter, but more over I do think this is 4.5 worthy 8o)

I'm of the opinion that only I'm entitled to an opinion, and that my opinion is fact, and that Pokemon does indeed suck?

People are entitled to their own opinions, but opinions (in my opinion) about whether or not Pokemon is great or not (I personally don't like Pokemon, though I do see why people think it is great) shouldn't affect ratings on how well-made the art is.

As for the art, it's pretty good (I think the shapes were done very well), but I really would've liked to see more visible shading. And I always thought it was Felarigatr, but apparently I'm wrong, because I just checked, and you're right on the spelling.

On the subject of Pokemon:
There is a distinction between Pokemon and the Pokemon metagame (the battling system). Pokemon is marketed as a children's game, which leads many to believe that it is childish and/or "gay". The Pokemon metagame, however, is one of the most complex, deep, strategic, satisfying, etc. games currently in existence. Those who consider it silly or stupid are only those too feeble-minded to grasp its complexities. That said, Nintendo has given Pokemon the short end of the stick for a really, really long time. There are plenty of improvements that could be made to the game on the whole.

the blues are amazing, but if you had done an older Pokemon, I would've 5aved it.

by the way, anyone who thinks Pokemon is gay must think dragons are gay, because neither of them exist. even though I really don't care.
