My thoughts.
The thwumps worked really well. The mines in the gauss area were perfectly placed. Everything else was below average really. I'm gonna rate 3/5.

take the crit max
I'm obviously easily pleased but notice I didn't 5 it.
Hmmm I think I might try making a map.. Go for gameplay first then try polishing your map, do what YOU like.

Totally agreed with seven_two.
This map just doesn't coalesce. It looks, plays, and feels like you were trying a specific theme, but it appears that it just fell apart. Kinda like you took 3 parts from 3 different maps. The gauss and rocket sections were COMPLETELY bland and forgettable, the floorguard area however, was cool.

Feels thrown together.

max ride
I thought this map rocked so much I'm going to bite it.
*bitten* As someone with "the power" I like it. I size it.

Wow
I like this map a lot. The beginning is great, and the section with the key was very cool also. One of your best, 4.5

Ugh...
If only I had gotten all of the gold. It's still awesome as a speed run though.

There's a "brilliant, flawless" option
but no "bothersome, flowless". An average numa map, nothing special that stands out to me. The flow seemed broken in many parts. 2.5
By giving you all those suggestions over IRC.
Then after the thank you line, you give me the "I just can't seem to please you" comment, which would be kind of self-contradicting. If you're asking me for ways to improve a map, there's no way you "can please me" because you're directly asking me to point out flaws in the map.

...
It's called "constructive criticism". Want me to say every map that you give me is flawless?

The optional gold
looks out of place.
