i noticed it too. there is also one at the second drone you meet (the one next to the jump pad) - if you go too fast then you fall into it before it goes up.

This map is too damn punishing.
Here's as far as I got before I was completely demoralised. Long races are all well and good, so long as you leave a margin for error - if you get struck by a drone here near the end of the map, you're left wondering how you can shave a few frames off a run you already had to struggle to perfect in order to beat the last damn drone.
No rating. I'll leave that to someone who knows more about races.
