Bounceblocks on the right were bad as has been said already long ago.

grrrr

I HATE THEM MINES!!!!
but good map lol

lol

I kind of see what you're getting at, but i just don't like those bounceblocks, it would be better also if you made the tileset there more complex, while keeping with the vertical and in and around thing you exaplined. still, nothing catastrophic, as i said.
"okay, thanks for the comments" :D :D :D :D
i was thinking.. the right hand side, with its vertical playing space, forms a nice conrast between the horizontal playing space of the middle section. Depending on the player's movements, one or both of the rockets may follow the ninja up into the exit switch section, adding additional rocket dodging to the gameplay.

Aesthetically, this map always gave me the impression of being suspended in mid air, somehwere high up, and as the far left wall i always find to be an aethetically invisible boundary (even though it is used) the right hand side give the impression you are scaling the outside of the structure. Which leads on to the concept that as you play this map, you are essentially playing in and around the structure, and placing the exit switch on the right hand side allows the player full exploration.

I suppose its placed there originally for aesthetic reasons, it balances the map rightwards a bit...i dunno.

it felt right to me. thanks for commenting :)

Ok,

the middle and left hand sections are amazing, maps with that kind of gameplay are what i try, and fail, to pull off every time. But that bit on the right hand side... seriously, what were you thinking? It's shit, two bounceblokcs? randomly bad exit key placement, that really ruined what was a beautiful map :(
yes, this was obviously inspired by krusch, cos he's like, my hero.

thanks for the tips, i can't edit now and i won't resubmit but i definately agree with what you said. TY!!! :D

well,

this only made me want to cream my pants (in a good way) *sorry for the disturbing image*

pretty good, but i wanted more gold on top....it looks pretty but it really doesnt seem logical to get it with time restraints...

Oh, and ..

.. the bounceblock placement is fine, although one bounceblock per two over on the right would be sufficient.

Even just something like this works better, I think. Singulating and moving the left bounceblock from the tiles lets you go under it, which is cool.

I think the gameplay needs spicing up, though, around the exit switch (maybe with some mines), in the pipe itself (???), and in the top section (perhaps by moving the gauss?)

Sorry. But you did ask. Kind of.

Blargh.
