Back in my naïve and inquisitive youth, I went on a hunt. I scoured my parents' record collections, video collections, book collections, stamp collections, and teapots. Often, I didn't have the patience to appreciate most of what I found - even tea leaves were more interesting to my twelve-year-old self than, say, Chekhov.

Luckily, my time was not entirely wasted. I remember finding a book of short stories. Murder mystery stories at that. I was captivated by the whole genre. Tense atmospheres, cocksure attitudes, and ingenious double bluffs. As for this map, I love it for all the same reasons. — mintnut
