Description I really like this map a lot; I'd say it's one of the best ones I've made in a while. It can be really speedy if you want and it has great flow. Or, you can take it slow and steady.

this is brilliant. the tileset is gorgeous, and well used, the gameplay feels unique and everything was placed perfectly

You're right, this is pretty linear, although I had no trouble with the chaingun.

...ly fun. A really good map, but I do think that the chaingun was a strange enemy choice at the end. Other than that, it was truly excellent. 4.5/5

Well, it was okay.

I definitely saw some flaws, though. For one thing, the "flow." Honestly, I wasn't a big fan of playing a race with a less defined path. I think you've taken the term far too literally. When an author says flow, it means that the level itself melds together quite well, but it's still very open for many different ways to complete it, even if the level is linear. With this level, I found all the steps of the level being taken for me, creating a practically mindless trial & error experience, which I feel isn't what you want to capture in an action map. I guess everything else about the map was alright, but the chaingun was a horrible choice in enemy. The way the tileset was designed, I feel like a gauss would have been better, just so that you would be able to get the gold in the section without the chaingun shooting at you and _always_ killing you. But that's just my take on it.
