Here's the best tip I can give you

Playtest.

If you don't have fun with the map, chances are nobody else is going to have fun with it either.

The fact that you said you only spent five minutes on this doesn't surprise me. As far I know, this is just someone's tileset thrown in together with a few enemies and some gold.

Spend more time on maps and playtest them. It's the only way to improve.
