Description As N leapt through the lock, he noticed two things nearly simutaneously: a swift decrease in temperature, and the trapdoors that prevented him from retreating. Now, why in the blazes was it getting colder? Maybe someone set up a refrigeration system, thoughthe. Our valiant hero start chuckling at the absurdity of the idea, until he noticed some smallish domes protruding for the rock. They seemed to to be emitting chilled air, frigid enough to have caught several water drops in mid-fall. Around them was a small glistening of condensation... Golden condensation. No, take that back, N decided. It was pure gold! He lunged forward, and tripped over a large book on the cavern floor. He picked himself up, and stared at the cover for a while.
"Damn! I forgot my glasses!"
After minutes of glaring at it, N began to make out the letters.
"D... i... a.. r... y. Diary! O... f.. M... wait. Diary of M... o... l... e. Diary of Mole? Who the hell would name their kid Mole? Or... uh-oh. Moleman."
(due to the extreme dullness of reading everything as slowly as our woderful ninja did, I'll simply type what he read without all those little dots.)

Diary of Moleman Brent

July 14

Having been stranded beneath the evil cocoons, our patrol must stay here. We dare not venture upward toward the cities for fear of disturbing the Evil Ones. If aroused from the cocoons they are currently hibernating in, the complete Moleman civilization shall be utterly destroyed. We can only hope that advanced weapons are being constructed to ward off the Evil Ones when they awaken. We fear, too, to venture deeper and brave the heat, whaere many Evil Ones must lie.

So as to survive in the hellish conditions of this inferno, my fellow Molemen in our squadron have created an immense chilling system. It keeps us cool enough to survive, but takes much energy. When we run out of power, it will be a mater of time before we sizzle.

To make matters worse, we received reports from Commander Aaron on a strange being. He is robbing us of our precious energy, causing power failures throughout our land. If he comes down to us, it is sure that all our gold will be stolen from us, causing death. We have put all our hopes in the locks on either side of the refridgerated section. It would be quite difficult for him to enter here, and if he does, he shall not get out.

We pray to the gods to be recued soon, but is unlikely. We accept that we must stay here, even if death comes.
-Brent

So, N decided, the Molemen weren't actually as cruel as he had thought them to be. But they wish to stop him from obtaining more gold, so he hated them. Our selfish scrooge went out into the larger cavern, leaving the book behind. Seeing the chamber brimming with his precious metal, he immediately set off grab it.

Then the Brent's squadron came.

N darted away, hitting all the switches he could find. Finally, the lock swung open. As blazing heat filled the refidgerated caves, he almost regretted leaving the Molemen to die. Than he jumped throught the outer lock.

This is, I beleive, really fun. Beware, though. If you didn't read the story, there are three sekkers hidden in there.
If you have any suggestions for the map or srory, I'd be happy to listen. If not, at least comment.
Thanks!

Great story!

And great map. I liked the use of open space, bounce blocks and seeking drones.

Had to give up getting all the gold, though.
Demo Data

Why?

Because they were a surprise, or just by being there? I did tell you about them in the story.

Seriously

I think the drones ruin the level.
