What is with the thwump that sits outside the border the entire time though?

yup i havent seen some of those things before in a dda... veyr nice.. oh and those thwumps that are facing down on the ground that go up when u touch them... me and my friend have to trying to figure that out for a while now... do u have to edit the code? or is it just about placement and all... please reply on one of my newer maps... thanx
