Description My first completed DDA that is filled with limitless close calls, including a collision with a thwump that N survives near the end. The level does take a while to load and he gets killed every now and then from the gauss turret at the entrance to the top right section. Why? I don't know. It wasn't doing it before. If this happens just reset. Enjoy and please post comments here.

except for the fact that he does die every time by either gauss turrets or the thwump at the end. I also noticed that some of the bounce pads were either delayed or it just didn't work but aside from all that it was excellent so I gave you a perfect 5.

That was awesome :D I liked it at least as much as maximo's - it all ran smoothly for me - loaded fairly quickly and no gauss deaths. If I had to complain, I'd pick up on the kind of linearity - one room, then the next, then the next and so on. Oh and I'm not a big fan of deaths that aren't deaths (the thwump). However, in my book that deserves a 5 :)

Incredible. It looks like you put a whole hell of a lot of work into this thing, but the load time/messiness/the fact that he dies/unoriginal path in the top left chamber force me to give you a mere 5. However, since I can't give you that over maximo, only for "the better map's" sake, I'll have to give this a 4. But seriously, this is a 5 map, it's just that maxy's was a 7. :p

I've also submitted another DDA with no tiles (arena). It contains 8 laser drones, 4 gauss turrets, 4 rocket launchers and tons of near misses.

Thwump map

Just so you know I've submitted my thwump map. You can find it here. http://numa.notdot.net/map/4352 It works as a normal DDA and a Just Hold Right.

Gee thanks guys. I thought it was good but I didn't expect this sort of a reaction.

I know the lag is annoying but there ain't too much I can do about that. I have no idea why the turret started killing him. I know adding new enemies can affect previously placed ones but I never added anymore.

Sure Sendy, you can use the tileset but I would appreciate a word of credit.

Thanks everyone for saying that I'm good at DDA's. This is actually my first completed one so I'm just as amazed as you guys. I'm working on a thwump one right now with no lag so far. :) I'll submit it once I've finished.
That's bloody amazing, man, but that lag is simply ungodly. I hate counting off for gold delay, but it wasn't just that, it was the fact that out of the 10 times that I ran it, the gausses killed me 9 of 'em. I hate giving this a 4, but I think there's room for improvement. With that said, GOOD LORD, that's amazing.

That was one of the best DDAs I've seen. However, I rated it only a 4 since the ninja died several times to the gauss turret, and because of the lag and load time. I sort of feel bad, but I want you to feel you can improve.

Excuse my french :>. The gauss killed N on the first go and the lag makes it a bit jerky, but that is certainly a new level of insanity for DDA's.

Oh, I like the tileset (the layout of the ground tiles), mind if I try and make a normal level out of them?

Awesome DDA! You're right, it does make up for things. But i thought the lag made the first part look cooler :P 5 ninjas.

I'm sorry about the number of jump pads, the excessive loading time and the gauss turret but I think the rest more than makes up for that. Please rate and post.
