Map Data

Description Haven't seen a good moving wall map in a while, so I made one. I tried to take the idea in a variety of directions, so they aren't all mandated in the same way. I tried to make each individual part as easy as possible (except mabey the first, because I know that dying on the last is a lot more infuriating than dying on the first), and so the level as a whole is much easier than other maps of the type. The challenges vary greatly, from dodging a series of mines as they get closer and closer toghether to racing a single thwump so you can use him as a bridge to just plain corridors. There's several places where you must wait until a thwump pushes you down a passage, and the ending involves another near-death DDAish scenario.

How??

how did he get the thwumps to be 1/2 in the floor and go up
i does not work for me when i put it 1/2 in the floor it just stays there
here's a semi-fast demo

Sneaky

Not a full demo but a sneaky (although not particularly quick) way past the second part without having to move quickly.

Musicwumusic. . .

You go right until you reach the single thwump. Activate him and manouver back to the one ways in front of him, he'll push you through and you can ride him across the mines.

Hurrah!

Vote number 5 for Claustrophobia! And it put you in 2nd place, too! Great map!

No

I mean, what is the path you're supposed to take? After the mines and I get down to the bottom, where am I supposed to go?

Short version

You're supposed to not die.
Every time you touch on of those thwumps, it and the ones next to it (which are mostly hidden underneath tiles, but there's always three) begin moving backwards. They act as a moving wall, floor, or ceiling. In the first one, you must avoid hitting a mine by moving left and right, and in the others you must move quickly to get to the exit and any switches, or you will be squashed. You must activate every thwump. The only exception is the single thwump which moves left along the bottom-- he is used as a bridge instead of a wall, but you still must beat him there.

??

I don't understand what you're supposed to do here...

Great

Perfect. I love this map. 5 ninjas!

Great

The best wall-moving map I've seen yet. 5 ninjas.
