http://numa.notdot.net/map/40030 I like the DDA, its a bit short (1600 frames) but i use less the half the screen. Also, there is really no gold delay (1 gold stall, one gold delay on a thwump and one on some bounceblocks) Press one before you play, comment rate and all that jazz. There are some really nice close calls twoards the end, frames 1310-1330 are nice, and i like 1412-1430. |

i dislike snipers greatly. I mean, the rating down kinda sucks, but what can you do. However, the least they could do is leave a post as to why their sniping. I'll do one for my snipers: I rated your map a 0/5. Not because it deserves that rating, (or at least i dont think so, because i never watched it). However, your amazing skill makes me angry at myself for not being as good so i decide that i will rate you down inorder to boost my self esteem, although i know that it will do no such thing. I suppose all this self-loathing stems from a bad household or parents who dont love me.

It was ok.
It seems as if you set up the methods of which to move the ninja around first, and then put in as many enemys you possibly could that would still make it work. As doghouse said, there are too many DDAs that are "clumped", and not ones that bring in new ideas and such.

doghouse i agree with you fully, i mean, i really liked this DDA and it was hard to make and all that jazz, but im gonna try and make something with a whole lot less enemies and try to keep the close calls inthere.

dont get me wrong but..
there have been many ddas especially recently with a tonne of enemies clumped together. The end result is usually a lot of lag eg. The ring of Fire and while producing lots of close calls. As i have made ddas myself i have realised how easy you can produce close calls with enemies clumped together but it would be more interesting to see a dda with less enemies and less lag but with the same amount of close calls. So as i was saying in my opinion thats makes this ddas...well kinda generic. What im looking for in a dda to get top marks is something different and better from the rest. Those are the ddas that should only be given top marks. I have one more example. Take rocket ed. If formica were to have published it today and lts say kras were old, i would only give it a 3/5 but since it was made when the concept was new, it was top rated for some time.

mcp3000 thanks for sticking up for me, but i have no problem with doghouse. He is quite a decent DDA maker, and although he sometimes can be a bit of a pain, he gives reasons why he doesnt like something. Honestly, im quite happy with a four out of five rating from him, because it is like a 5/5 from many others.
