Lenght it is not necesarilly an issue,

You can make perfectly maps for over 2000 or 2500 frames, only make sure that them are smooth or pleasent to play. Balacing is key. If the lenght of the map is long you can create an easy-ish gameplay to prove in this case the endurance of the player.. ;)
