doing something i'm already considered good at, when it take a long time and is rather boring, seems to me like a waste of time...but still...point taken... i know im not good at the art stuff...but it seemed like a good idea...

My eyes! No offence, but your first map, smiley numba 1 was much better.
Stick to the things you can do well, like DDA`s.
And remember to backup the data of the map from time to time, or else you will have to start from point zero everytime the neditor chrashes/ you accidentally press tab+q.
