Heh, it's pretty hard to do anything fancy on a first run through.

This run is pretty bad, but I got most of the gold. I still think that the two rooms that have the two gausses would be better off having one gauss each. Sure it's not too hard to get by those rooms, but having two gausses greatly raises the chance of being hit by random crossfire without really any rewards.

honestly

i think you're playing it too cautiously. you can ride the thwumps, wall launch and a bunch of other stuff without even coming close to getting hit by the gausses.
