But it didn't work. I suppose I am just being pretentiou, but I can take some consolation in stating that the final product is not going to be the maps themselves, but something which I can guarentee will be more...better. The maps are just a vessel.

You should of eroded a full-blown landscape
That way it would be more interesting. If they were full blown maps too, that would cool. This is just like... an attempt at being pretentious.
