infact just the opposite... But my idea of what was easy vs hard was foggey when I first began mapping.

I don't usually offer advice but, LOOK at maps with 4s and 5s see what they do, and if you can't beat it. look at the demos people post. See what people find amazing!

This doesn't mean that you should give up your own style however. just bear in mind, that you don't need a lot of space to make a good map.
