I've stated, very clearly, very concisely, twice on this map that I do not consider myself above you or anyone and that my opinion is just that. Do you people really have such a problem with reading comprehension, or are you just so desperate to spin this to make yourselves appear justified?
My opinion is that this map is trash.

These things do not equal truths. And the ONLY reason I brought them up is because sidke made a public assumption that I was rating his maps out of spite and that my rating values were whimsical and shallow.
It was a thinly veiled stab, he lashed out because he felt hurt that his map was rated badly. That's apparently cool behaviour with you guys and doesn't deserve to be corrected?
My responses were actually playful to begin with, tone is lost online so I guess I can't blame you, but I was completely justified calling sidkes assumptions and ideas of me silly and I'm fully entitled to call him awful within the confines of NED.

Yes, I am leaving for other reasons. But saying, "I am leaving because of atob," makes me seem more shallow and childish than saying, "Yeah, I have school and life to attend to. NUMA/Metanet takes up a good portion of my time because I honestly want to be here more than do the boring monotonous crap that is life. If I don't forcefully remove myself from them both for a bit I will most likely fail this semester and not get a job which is what I should be doing. Did I mention I am also most likely moving?"

he's a shitty map-maker. I think you're wrong. You can think what you want, but I wish you wouldn't be so dismissive and insulting to one of my favorite mappers as to get him to leave. Of course, you're a much more experienced and basically better mapper than I am, so maybe you actually do believe that your opinion holds more weight (being an admin and all), and I can understand that, but those comments are absolutely brutal, and while I can think of plenty of maps that warrant such frankness, this map certainly does not (IMO of course). I've always respected you for how much you benefit the community, just try not to step on so many toes while you're at it.

Loved the switches on the wall btw, nice touch, im always yelling at people to stay off the walls but i can't quite pull off preventing them like you do.

Maxon, if you really are insecure enough for me to need to right IMO after every one of my OPINIONS, then you should deal with that. I know what I like, that's all, obviously these things are entirely subjective.
And sidke, how am I being self-rightous here? I played your map, I thought your map as awful, I rated it as such and told you so. IF you can't deal with that without whining on about it then, once more, I think you need to take a look closer to home.

I actually disagree with him about sidke's mapping, because I for one enjoy his maps a load. They're simple, but the subvert the generic enough to make them seem like a fresh style. At least some of his stuff anyways.
and i'm kinda tired of seeing him state his opinions like they're facts :/
