hmm...
it's not consistent. see the beginning part with the wall jumps to get out? on the right part, it's right in the middle of the mines, the other part, it's sorta in the way of the mines. Personally, I would change the style of the left tile
ppl don't like it when you hide thwumps like that. unless it's a DDA or something, I DON'T suggest you do it.
Also, you had no gold. Gold is important. Try using it in these ways:
- show the path through the level
- make tons of it, and make it a challenge to get to
- put it at regular intervals, for example, the steps on the right, if you put one on top of each step...
- use it to hide stuff, if you NEED to
But so far, you're doing well for a first map, and welcome to NUMA.

Don't just put gold in for the sake of it, making tons of gold often will look ugly and detract from the map.
A bit more tile variety would have made the map a bit more interesting, and it looked like you just gave up on the right half of the map.
Not a bad first try.
