Explanation of nan
This is my understanding. When you place an object in ned adds the code for that object onto and long line of code that its made for all the objects you have placed this is an ! followed by a series of numbers and commas the last number usually being the y co-ordinate of the object. Importantly the last object you place will have no ! following its last number (y co-ordinate) as there is no object following it. When building a map the computer then reads this string of numbers and converts them back into object positions and attributes. Now if one of the attributes has an unrecognized character in it like a letter or symbol the computer takes the default for this attribute which if its a co-ordinate means just reads it as 0. A lot of the time once they have finished or to save progress in the middle of making a map people copy this data into a text document and then either later when resuming work on it or when posting copy it back out again. However when doing this they often select not only the data but also the enter space after it (when you press enter it writes an invisible character which is what moves the line down). this enter character will be on the end of the last number of last object you placed. When the computer compiles the data and comes across this enter character it cannot read it and therefor sets this last number 0. This last number is commonly the y co-ordinate of the last object you placed as previously explained so when it goes to 0 your object ends up at the top of the screen however it does replace it with the letters NAN to help you find it or something.
How to avoid NAN'd objects
1) When copying the map into numa or into a text document don't press enter
2) when moving into ned or numa from a text document look for and enterspace and the end and remove it
3) Don't press add enter to the text in ned
4) If you already have NAN'd objects and con't remove them look through data for NAN and delete all the info between those 2 ! If you still can't find it in a complex map copy the data into word and search for NAN
No patronisation is intended in this explaination if you already know most of this stuff I apologise chume =)

also when
placing doors watch out that you can't get within a space of them or it makes the level cheat-able like here see agentninja's demo and trap doors that make it impossible behind gold are uncool

AGD
This is great for a first map reminiscent of classics like flight and malice although not quite in that league. This has some serious promise 4.1/5 look out for NAN'd objects when the go up to the top of the screen look through you code for when it says NAN and avoid pressing enter when making and saving the level. Stick around you have potential
