I too would give this a 1-1.5
this is actually my sixth, not my first like it appears to be.

and after all this time, i still think a 1 was a bullshit rating to give on this map :/

1.5/5

don't wet your bedsheets just yet. The concept of a snowlake map is an innovative one no doubt; but the way you distributed the snowflakes, along with the rest of the tile scheme made the map feel restricted and viscous. And there's a lot of empty space that was not filled. Perhaps you should've made more snowflakes Thw gold scheme could've been made to match the symmetry of the snowflake tiles; and the mines could have been placed elsewhere, for currently they are rendered useless. They enemies were pretty dull. Placing most of 'em in the corner was not appealing to the gameplay or the aesthetics/the look of the map. That goes foor the door switches as well. The bounceblocks were more a hinderance than a assistance. They directed the ninja where it needed not to be; that may not be a totally bad thing, but I certainly did not like their placement whatsoever. All of these combined factors made the map drag far from the action genre; everything should blend together, so that the ninja is in constant chaos, whcih is created by creating a moderate open-spaced map, without completely sectioned rooms.

4.5

the laser was used expertly.
that was the four.
the .5 was for the fact that I love sequencing in levels.

p.s., finished my map with your tileset.
ch-ch-check it out.
