Description | This is a pretty difficult, fast race map. It's my *first* map, so any advice/criticism would be much appreciated. If you can't figure out the flow, I'll post a demo that should help.

but i have to agree with 321southpaw on this one. one thing i really didnt like was the part with the one-ways, that just messed up the flow. other than that and what 321southpaw said, it was decent. ill give you a 3.5/5 since its your first

I didn't like it very much at all. Here are some things to work on or watch out for:
1. Too much gold. Although your map didn't have too much gold it is something you should be conscious of for your next maps. Adding too much gold will cause the game to lag, which means you'll probably die.
2. Enemy placement. This was something I felt your map needed more work on. going around the first turn was fine until I exited it and would get hit by one of the rockets. Then exiting the second turn and entering the third turn I often hit a mine. I felt that you could have used 1 rocket launcher for the entire upper left area.
3. Tileset. This is crucial because the tileset can really affect the outcome of each section of a race. In the beginning, coming out of the second turn I felt that it was the 7-tile at the top of turn 2 that caused me to hit that mine in turn 3 over and over and over again. If you moved the 7-tile to the right and then put a 5-tile where the 7-tile was that works a lot better overall.
Those were just a few things that I think could have worked better for your map. I liked the middle and end parts the best, it was really just the beginning that i was having trouble with.

Brilliant race
I loved the middle part, it was really fun. Fast, flowy, great first map. Maybe not quite so fast, give a little time to recover, but it was nice to have a really challenging race, most are pretty beatable. 4.5/5

Fantastic first map
The flow was pretty good, and while it was a little funky in the middle with the one-ways, I really liked it. 3.5/5
