Description READ RULES

this map has 2 routes and you have to choose one of them at the start:
-if you choose to go right than you have to play it like a no-jump map, that means you're only allowed to go left or right
-if you choose to jump than you have to play it like a jump-only map, that means you can only use the jump button

both routes have 6 groups of 4 pieces of golds, so the agd for each route consists in collecting 24 pieces of gold, it won't be easy though because of the gausses and the mines placement

it would actually do a reasonable job as a abstract race, maybe you should try making one of those...

only one thing, THIS MAP WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE A RACE in any of the 2 routes, the idea was to have a precision jumping jump-only part and a flowy no-jump where the timing of the switching between left and right was crucial,
so basically it was designed to be played by skilled players only

for the jump only:

A good jump only race is quite hard to make. I should know, I've made a couple. the best jump only races are those which keep some speed. jump only races like lost in translation ( ) are quite slow and therefore not very fun. try to make it faster. also, if your jump only race is slow and there is quite a lot of variability in how you jump, use more reliable enemies or looser enemy placement. the gausses didn't work very well here, but in a more precise race they would do well. also, it was quite hard to get all of the gold. this is bad. you should make it so that it is a bit of a challenge to get the gold, but make it possible for less experienced players. If I had to vote just for the jump only, I would give it a 3.5. However, you did manage to fit this and the no jump in, so bonus points for that.

For the no jump:

for future no jumpers, use slightly more reliable propulsion if it is quite hard to get to places. also use different enemies. other than that, there was nothing wrong with it. if it was just this, it would be a 3.5 as well.


this is a reasonable map. however, it would've been nicer to have the two races cross paths a little more.

I rate this map a 3.5. good, but could use improvement.

dont really think these type of maps are fun. "Jump only" or "no jump"


I liked it almost as much as the idea, but the title beats all. Haha, they are who we thought they were.
