Description This is the third map in a series I've had going, the Heavy Metal Tribute series. It was unofficial until now. The idea of the series is that each map is a DED to a song and a favorite mapmaker. If you want a map dedicated to you, I have to like your race maps. Simple, really, and almost not a series. Any way, this map is a tribute to Strapping Young Lad and heatwave21, who's made some brilliant maps, namely "It's obvious you won't survive by your wits alone" and "End of the Road".

The idea of this map started when I looked at "Enemy of Reality" (my last map), took the things I liked about it (namely, the idea of a race with two paths, and one path cutting across the other), and built another map around it. I also experimented with using 1 tiles for flow instead of curves. I like how this one came out. There are some very nice close calls

RCE, and as a certain Van Halen singer would say, YOOOOOOOOW!

I didn't know about this until now.
decent race map. I agree with the others though.

Oh, and a rating...

3.5/5 - Only things keeping it from a 5 in my opinion are the jerky beginning and the fact that it's a bit too easy.

Hmmm

It didn't feel all that flowy. I do like the two-path thing, but what really makes me happy is the kind of map where you really interact with the map while playing. So you end up in a certain room several times, but it's different each time. You did that well in "No No No". But that's just me. I think you did the two-path thing really well and it's a really cool idea. This demo is my down path.

of all tiles, to acheive a perfect flow. 1 is better if your going to jump off it, and 4 is better if your not
