WOW

i just saw this! i cant wait to see what you do with the new ned!

by the way i gave it a 5
That was the longest DDA I have ever played.....or seen. I can see why it took you 12 hours. A 5/5 at least. Keep it up.

WOW O,O

NOW i know, why you spent 12 hours on it... it's very, very amazing... 5/5 (and you would get 10/5, if it was possible XD)

Insane!

5/5

..

To TDL: Thanks for the tip! Really. I don't think I would have thought of that. It was only recently I've discovered that adding gold, mines, doors, thwumps etc DOES change the lag properties of the level, but only minutely. I had an action level I made and a demo for it, I added some gold to the map, and played the demo, and the demo was broke! So your idea sounds like the best way to go, I'll try it and let you know how I got on. Thanks again! :)

to Great_sea:

I appreciate the thought!

deserves a five

... if could change my vote now, i would. :) goodness, this is impressive. deserves five even with bugs. i am learning how freakishly strenuous it can be to make these, so yeah... good stuff. amazing.
Yeah. Wicked. 5/5 for sure.

My attempts at thwarting random death syndrome is to lay down a pile of trap- doors in a rock, and delete them whenever I add a new trap door to the real level. Seems to work quite well- it's how I made... errrr... whatsitcalled- the tribute to Maximo.

So, yeah.... anyway... this is totally awesome, and looking at it, you really don't need any advice. This is so good.

schweet

that was pretty interesting, but i died at some random point. check the demo. i am truly impressed.
Demo Data

Awsome!

I love DDAs. But this one is way better than any other DDA!
I do agree with some of the negative criticism, too. However, I really did think the wall of thwumps was a good addition, as it plays a pivotal role, and makes N do some cool things (at one stage he's bounced into it via a launchpad and he bounces off the wall! I hadn't seen anything like that before). The mines are there to (a) add extra close calls, and in some places, it's purely aesthetic. They are to compliment the lazer beams and balance the visual composition. It looked better with them in than out but people could delete them if their machine is lagging.

I also noticed the laser beam bug right at the end. Funny, that didn't happen the day I made it, I must have tested the full thing 10 times or more. Oh well, I may fix that up but I don't think it detracts too much overall.

Great...

But unfortunately, I died 3/4 times. Twice because of the lone mine you mentioned, but also once from a laser drone right before the end. He hit me while I was falling down the left side of the last enclosure, just seconds before the finish. Also, the load time was somewhat annoying, especially because I had to load it four seperate times to get a completed run. Lag was prevalent throughout, and very heavy in the busy parts (although this is in the most part due to my 996 processor speed).

BUT, these are not the most important issues. The most important issue is how good this level actually was. Spectacular. About every few seconds I was sure I had died, only to see my little N pop up in a different area, continuing to cheat death in a number of creative ways. I especially liked the thwump that in the nick of time nudged him of his course into a thicket of mines.

So, in closing, to rate this map a 3 or three-point-anything would be a travestry of justice. Therefore, taking all this into consideration, I confidently give you 4 N's :)

coo-dee-gras

it was pretty nice but it made me feel empty. i dont know. 4/5. it was very thrilling. as the name entitles.

Neverender

what the fuck is your problem. Leave. Seriously. And never, ever come back.
Oh, and I was killed at the end... By the laser.

terrific!

loved it so much! really good work sendy: NNNNNs

WEDGIE

is a fag, but this map is simply amazing.

So Amazing!!!

So much to say. Can't type it all down. It's Fantastic, Brilliant, Super, Superb, Awesome, Action Packed and ect. I love it!!!!

awesome

as i make DDA's myself i understand the time you have to put in to make a DDA, so i give you a very very well deserved 5, you are one of the best DDA-ers on numa.
A lot of the stuff in here seems… pointless (trap doors to block missiles, thump walls, many mines.) And I'm severely discouraged by the overuse of doors.

But, it's got a lot of neat things too: pushblocks, close calls, and that neato door thingy with the laser. I give it a 4/5… oh, and N died by the laser drone at the end.

Thanks all!

To pentadact - thanks for the extra bug report. I haven't been able to reproduce it yet, but if I can, I may try and fix it.

One more bug!

Stunning, jaw-dropping map. But I have found another erratic mine - the leftmost of the cluster of three near the exit, my ninja got explodified by it once. Wouldn't be a problem if I wasn't watching it over and over again to gawp.

Love the slow slide down the sideways jump-pad, and the cascade of thwumps, and the time he's shot along the line of a targeting laser and falls out of it just before it fires.
Cause this was so good. 5/5
You are much better than me...
This was so cool!
I loved it!
sometimes... crashed on that mine.
Big 5/5!

Ace.

5/5.
